Wave ensures holistic Speech and Language Therapy provision for schools and colleges
Wave offers a unique provision, including assessment, therapy and groups. Alongside this, Wave believes in inspiring those around the young person to support communication. This is achieved through integration of support within the classroom and delivery of bespoke training packages, tailored to meet the needs of your educational setting.
ASSESSMENT
Wave is able to support with identifying students who require assessment, complete detailed assessments of Speech, Language and Communication needs and provide recommendations for support within the education environment.
THERAPY
Within schools and colleges Wave is able to offer 1:1 therapy. It is also our belief that empowering people around the young person to support communication is integral to success. Therefore, education staff may be supported to carry out programmes and therapy sessions.
GROUPS
Groups provide an exciting opportunity to develop communication and peer relationships. Groups can be designed for the needs of the children and young people in your school or college and can be run by a Speech and Language Therapist or a trained member of staff.
TRAINING
Specialist and targeted support is most effective when provided on a foundation of universal staff training. Wave is able to tailor training packages for your education setting to ensure that communication is supported in all environments.
